電動車大廠特斯拉（Tesla）正在尋覓優秀的工程師新血，執行長伊隆·馬斯克（Elon Musk）20日晚間在個人推特上宣布，特斯拉正在擴張自駕車部門，需要招募人才，並表示會親自進行部分面試。
值得關注的是，特斯拉尋覓的人才是「軟體工程師」，且未必要有在自駕車領域的經驗。畢竟汽車更有向軟體而非硬體發展的趨勢。

特斯拉自駕車部門負責開發該公司的Autopilot自動駕駛系統，正是這款系統讓Model S電動車具備半自駕功能。但Autopilot目前只能在高速公路上開啟自動巡航或偵測道路危險，還沒像Google自駕車般達到全自駕的程度。
馬斯克表示，Autopilot只是第一步，他的目標是在三年內達到完全自動化的目標。隨著特斯拉加速發展、招募賢才，成果或將指日可期。
